So many students, businesses, and organizations have stepped up to help our neighbors! We do not have pictures of everyone who participated, so be sure to email your pictures if you would like to be featured.

Local High School Groups

Heritage girls.jpg

American Heritage girls and Trail Life boys stop by regularly to help us with big jobs like packaging cereal cups and chip bags. We are so thankful for their help!

Take a look at our new after-hours box, built by Andrew & friends as his Eagle Scout project. Providing a resource for many everyday, the box is a godsend.

Thanks to Carter and Jackson for bringing in birthday cake kits to share!  What a fun way to love your neighbors!

We are thankful for generosity of our gardening friends. Parker and Mia brought in over 250 pounds of sweet corn to share!

Jack took on a big project that provided a whole holiday meal to around 80 families. He presented his idea to several merchants and lots of people, conducted several fund raisers to make the vision happen, assembled the boxes with the help of his family and supporters, and delivered them to the food bank for distribution. He said he learned not to be afraid to ask for help when big work needs to be done!

Several students shared produce from Pride Elementary School's Courtyard of Curiosity. Thanks to all for all for the hard work and dedication, even during summer break! If you have pictures of other students participating, email them to us. We would love to include them!

Run for the Hungry 2025

Thanks to all our participants and sponsors, and to Kate Evans  at Fitness101 for making the dream work. You can see the results of the race here, but the folks of Hopkins County are the real winners, as over  $7400 was raised for the food bank!

First United Bank is such an awesome supporter in the community! In addition to their support of our Run for the Hungry, they also donated some of their Friday jeans money to Christian Food Bank, and held a food drive .

The Young's Movie Event at Golden Ticket Cinemas

Look at all of the amazing donations that Golden Ticket Cinemas Capitol 8 collected at the Young's Christmas movie event. Bill & Nadine Young sponsored a community movie, and the theater shared popcorn with all who brought in food to share with their neighbors. What a blessing!

BHD 2025.jpg

Thanks to our friends at Baptist Health Deaconess Madisonville for a big food drive during the holidays. We also appreciate the proceeds from your t-shirt fund raiser that provided ground beef, sausage, chicken, 40 eggs, and peanut butter, as well as additional funds for the purchase of other perishable goods.

We appreciate Dr. Donnelly presenting the food bank with a donation from the Knights of Columbus.
